Trisha Moriarty, a.k.a. Carole O’Neill, is a Peabody and Emmy Award winning television producer/director whose programs aired on the ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS affiliates in the Boston market. She served as the Executive Director of the Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. In her role as National Trustee and member of the Board of Governors, she exchanged creative programming with television executives in Luxembourg, Italy and Switzerland.
After nearly two decades of teaching television writing, producing and directing as well as entertainment media, she retired from her professorship at Emerson College.
As a visiting professor at Coastal Carolina University in the Department of Communication and Journalism, she was a driving force in the creation of WCCU Radio.
Today we might find her enjoying a feature film at the cinema, writing another chapter for her first mystery novel, or enjoying the South Carolina coastline with her husband, Jim.
Her memoir, The Secrets She Kept, is written under her pseudonym. The names and locations in the book have been changed out of consideration for those characters that might still be living on the planet.
